The SAGE 99 series fly rods are designed specifically for fishing multiple-fly or indicator rigs. These rods load lower down the blank creating a more open loop. The result is easier presentation of heavy indicator rigs. No more tangles. The stiffer tip won’t “buckle” under heavier rig loads. The larger stripping and snake guides allow for easy stack mending and line “shake-out.” The new 99 series fishes like a 10′ fly rod, but casts like a 9′6” fly rod.
