Can a suit store match a pair of pants to a jacket?
I own a suit (blazer and pants) combo and I recently lost the pants. I was planning on simply going to the store with the jacket and having them match a pair of pants to the jacket but a friend of mine says that that is not possible.
She claims I will have to buy an entire new suit because with new fabrics being used it will be impossible to get an exact match. It will be possible to get a close match, but not the same as before. Is this true?

I would try, what could it hurt or take the blazer and pair it with a nice dark wash pair of jeans. If your young pair it with a vintage tee under it and wear it for a date night.
