What is a good soft plastic frog bait for largemouth bass?
The Strike King Rage Tail will produce a lot of action. But the lure is about a dollar a frog and will sometimes become worthless after one strike of a bass that you did not catch. The tails that produce the action is very fragile and if one tail is damaged the action is gone.I love the lure but can't stand the expense of fishing it. I use the Stanley Ribbet Frog in red pearl color when I use a frog. It doesn't catch as good as a Rage Tail but at least I can afford to fish it.
